This sort of turns into more of a list of what I don't like than what I do, though I realize now that "selfcest" could have been higher in the list than it was. The 16s are not in order of how much I don't like them, and I don't actually know what "loyalty kink" is -- I assumed it had something to do with enforced monogamy, and I strongly dislike kinks based on monogamy -- but yeah, the bottom half of this list turned into Tropes Alara Really Hates Or At Least Is So Done With.

I don't like arranged or fake marriage really turns into love, because if love can be achieved that cheaply, how's it really love? I don't like people doing fake romance things either. I hate everything to do with soulmates. I hate A/B/O because it almost invariably turns into some means of producing a deeply misogynistically sexist story that hides its sexism by making the "woman" of the pairing biologically and mentally male, except male from a category of male that can bear children which isn't actually any reasonable definition of male as a gender. There are exceptions, some fantastic ones, but it's gotten to the point where I see A/B/O in the summary and I just don't click. Don't like reincarnation. Vampires and werewolves are overplayed. Didn't like high school when I was living through it. Don't like relationships based on "A is an employee, B is a customer, and A is serving B. Romance!" Age difference as a *kink* is squicky to me, though I am more than happy with relationships between, say, a fifty-year-old human and a five-billion-year-old entity, or a twenty-year-old pony and a two thousand year old chimera. :-) I just don't like to make a thing of the age difference.

I should clarify with the sex pollen thing that I am not a fan of sex pollen = rape. Sex pollen where one party either must have sex to survive or will be in great suffering without it, and the other party voluntarily chooses to help them and was consciously aware that they find that person attractive before the sex pollen happened, that is a thing I like. I also am okay with stories that acknowledge that rape is rape and have repercussions if that happens. What I do not like is "I'm sorry I have to do this because of the sex pollen!" and then the affected character forces the unaffected one but it's all right in the end because they liked it.
